Bride & Groom

It’s a really exciting time, and thing to be doing, but don’t forget about why you’re doing it.  Make time for yourselves during the planning stage, and make sure you get to spend some quality time together.  Try and set aside some time every week (or whatever fits with everything) to spend time together talking about ‘normal’ things, no wedding talk!

Go on a date regularly, it doesn’t have to be expensive – a long walk costs nothing.

When it came to our big day, we had exchanged presents, and cards…and it really did help settle the nerves.  Why not give something that will last for life, jewellery is a favourite, or something really built to last like some luggage.  You could always go a bit out of the ordinary, and splash out on something like a camera tour which you can both do together, maybe spend a weekend in London, but more importantly, both have time out for yourselves.
