Some brides chose to do their own make up. This by far is the cheapest way of doing your wedding make up. Although I know how to do my own make up, I really wanted it to stay fresh for the whole day.
I found a local girl who did my make up on the wedding day. I was really worried that if I did my own make up then it would not last. Though I was pleased with the finished product, I think that in retrospect I would have done my own make up. Most of my friends did their own make up after they had been given lessons from various make up counters – the two that spring to my mind are Bobbi Brown and MAC. These make up counters will show you how to apply make up properly. It is definitely worth investing in the correct make up brushes as they help to create that flawless look! If you do end up buying products to use on the wedding day, don’t fret because you will be able to use them after the wedding to make you look gorgeous on Honeymoon! One friend of mine used Body Shop and the lady came to her house on the wedding morning and did her make up for free!
One final make up tip is to ask any friends or family that you know to apply your make up for you – you will be sure to feel pampered!
