I had a single tier chapel length veil with some small crystals in it to give it a bit of sparkle. My florist also arranged to put 3 orchids on some wire which my hairdresser then put into my hair. It created a simple and pretty look. I boughtthe dress and the veil at the same shop and asked for a discount so got the veil for free! Bargain.
Lots of brides opt for a tiara which is lovely, but will cost you. Have a look on ebay as well as online bridal shops as that will be cheaper than buying it instore.
Being the UK, it can rain at any time of the year so we had a lovely white wedding umbrella to use just in case….in fact, we did need to use it so I was so glad that I had one! Though it didn’t feature in any of the wedding photos, it would have looked lovely if it had! You can get one for a reasonable price on Ebay or at Confetti.
Top Tips For Wedding Accessories:
- Shop around and look online.
- See if you can make your own accessories. My mother bought a fascinator from Marks & Spencer which was on a hairband. She removed the fascinator from the band and simply sewed it onto a comb – the whole cost was less than £10!
- See if any of your friends or family have any accessories that you can borrow, perhaps you had a friend who got married recently – they may be flattered if you ask them if you can borrow their veil for the day!
